Internet Weight Loss

I am still in graduate school trying to get through my degree and hopefully use some of my wit that I use on my blogging to entertain students in the classroom. All this thinking, got me thinking! Can I burn fat just by sitting here thinking? Doing a web search yielded positive results. Now obviously, just sitting you burn calories and there for fat, but if you are thinking a lot does it burn more? The consensus among the sites searched was that yes, it does.

Although there is no consensus on how much or how effective this fat burning is. Probably because it must be impossible to scientifically study how much thinking is “a lot” or “hard” thinking from one person to the next. The amount of thinking one person puts in on an activity (even a brain strenuous one) is different than the amount of activity that another person will put in, because each person thinks differently. So its impossible to know exactly how many calories or how much fat you can burn by thinking, but it is clear that thinking can burn extra calories. Now, what I want to know is if I’m working so hard in school, why aren’t I skinny yet?
