SO I really felt like that pectin worked last week. I have lost over 5 pounds in the last week. I’m sure it could have been water, or hormones or whatever. But I did clearly remember that pectin! So I decided to try out the whole google thing again and so googled “foods that burn fat.”
I came across a web site titled Top ten foods that burn fat. Already intrigued, I clicked on it and here are the foods it listed: Cayenne Pepper, Cinnamon, Ginger, Citrus Fruits, Apples and Berries, Soybeans, Bananas, Essential Fatty Acids, Garlic, and Dairy Products.
In case you weren’t paying attention, they aren’t quite foods…. Dairy Products is a food group, not a food and it seems counter intuitive that dairy products would burn fat. One of the readers who left a comment on that page agreed. Fatty acids like a compound or something and it’s really weird that something that containing the word “fatty” would be listed as a fat burner…. Everybody and their mother has heard of the grapefruit diet so the food group (not a food) of citrus foods wasn’t a surprise. Now clearly this has become a lesson in how the web isn’t the be all and end all in information. But here is where I am intrigued, cinnamon and ginger….. I will be looking into that!
